Registrars in Jesuit Education (CORe)

The purpose of the Network of Registrars in Jesuit Institutions (CORe) shall be to promote the advancement of education, particularly Jesuit higher education, and to contribute effectively to the accomplishment of the purpose and objectives of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. (Taken from the CORe Constitution, which can be found here).

The Network of Registrars in Jesuit Institutions (CORe) was established c. 1980 to promote best practices within the registrar’s profession and especially within the realm of Jesuit higher education. CORe members meet during the annual national meetings of AACRAO (American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers).

CORe members engage in an active, often daily, exchange of ideas via a shared listserv and questions website, immediately responding to each other’s questions and concerns regarding such diverse matters as interpretations of the U.S. Department of Education’s policies on distance learning and gainful employment; the best technologies to support the paperless office; and electronic transcripts.
