The AJCU Retiree Associations Network was founded in 2018. Members share best practices related to retirement support and retirement associations, discuss common problems and possible solutions, consider how retirement associations can support Jesuit initiatives and visions, and provide support to institutions interested in developing retirement associations.
Meetings of the Network’s members are normally held via Zoom and are usually scheduled quarterly. Meetings of the Steering Committee and Advisory Committee are usually held prior to meetings of the full Network. Agendas are distributed in advance. Summaries of meetings are distributed and maintained.
Task Forces are created from time to time to address specific issues. Task Forces provide the Steering Committee with written updates or summaries of their work.
When possible, the Network distribution list includes an administrative contact and a retiree association contact from each Jesuit college or university. Member institutions are encouraged to join AROHE: the Association of Retirement Organizations in Higher Education.
