Financial Aid Directors

This Network is comprised of financial aid directors at the 27 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. They meet annually during the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Conference and the AJCU Government Relations Network Conference in Washington, D.C.

AJCU Financial Aid Directors are committed to addressing the financial barriers that might prevent Jesuit institutions from enrolling and graduating highly talented students from underrepresented backgrounds. On behalf of AJCU and all who work in financial aid, the AJCU Financial Aid Directors Network is committed to identifying and sharing best practices; to assisting one another in understanding and implementing all federal rules and regulations applicable to student financial aid; to articulating AJCU’s responses to financial aid issues; and to representing the needs and interests of the students enrolled at Jesuit institutions.

The major achievement of the Network to date is creating a climate of ongoing discussions and support within the AJCU financial aid community throughout the year. In an era where institutional budgets are tight and federal regulations are continuously changing, members work with each other to discover the optimal short-term solutions to common challenges faced in administering federal aid programs. As active participants in professional associations at the state, regional and national levels, members also advocate for changes when warranted.
