Job Summary:
The Division of Education is seeking an Affiliate Faculty member to teach ED 306 – Assessment of Learning for the fall 2023 semester.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be able to teach general assessment content as it relates to instruction, planning, and meeting student needs and content expectations. They will have a working knowledge of the Colorado Academic Standards. The class is part of the licensure sequence for the State of Colorado Teaching Endorsement and is a foundational course leading to acceptance in the program. There is a possibility of teaching opportunities during the spring. The faculty member will be responsible for preparation, teaching and one hour per week dedicated for office hours.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education with teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications: A doctoral degree in Education with teaching experience

Work Schedule:

Class will be held on Tuesday/Thursday from 11:00am to 12:15pm. The Fall semester will begin on August 21 and end December 1, 2023, finals will be December 4 through 8 and final grades will be due on the December 14th.

Benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

Pay Rate:
$3,225 per course
