Over the past two years, AJCU has published several discussion papers to provide background and thoughtful questions on important topics from a Catholic and Jesuit perspective, in order to enrich campus conversations. These papers have been written in collaboration with colleagues who have expertise on topics of relevance to our schools and society today. Please note that these are not policy or position papers: rather, they are thought pieces for deeper local discussion on Jesuit campuses.

Our newest discussion paper (below) offers a reflection on disability communities at Jesuit colleges and universities. The timing is very fitting: the upcoming Feast of St. Ignatius Loyola on July 31 coincides with the last day of Disability Pride Month! We wish to thank our colleagues from Georgetown University, Boston College and Loyola Marymount University, who co-authored this paper with AJCU’s president and vice president for mission integration.
