Short Program Description:
Ongoing Trustee Formation at Fairfield University aims to build on trustee formation with a series of virtual sessions introducing trustees to certain fundamental readings and themes of the Jesuit, Catholic tradition.
Program Goals/Intended Outcomes:
1. Deepen understanding of the trustees’ vocation as stewards of mission.
2. Provide an overview of the Jesuit mission today, especially the Universal Apostolic Preferences and their application to the work of trustees.
3. Discuss the Mission Priority Examen and other tools for evaluating Fairfield’s mission.
How long does it take to complete the program?: 1-3 hours
Further Details on Completing Program: Participants meet three times annually for one hour at a time.
