ICP 510: Ignatius the Spiritual Leader
Welcome! We hope that you enjoy this first online workshop. ICP 510 is the first of two workshops to review in preparation for our upcoming ICP Orientation July 14-17. The second workshop, “ICP 511 – Orientation”, will be available toward the end of June and will contain videos, articles and reflection questions that presenters will reference during their live Zoom sessions. Please do your best to review the material in both workshops prior to Orientation.
In this first workshop, Module1 provides an overview of St. Ignatius and his spirituality and how that spirituality impacts the principles of Jesuit education and our work as facutly and administrators in Jesuit higher education. Module 2, More to the Story, describes women’s contributions to Ignatius, his spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises, and the current challenges in Jesuit higher education. Module 3, Additional Resources, lists some historical and contemporary spaces and websites for learning more about Jesuit and Catholic mission, identity, spirituality, pedagogy, and more.
Let me know if you have any questions or have any trouble accessing the material.
