Claire Noonan, D.Min. is a mission-centered leader and strategic thinker serving as Vice President for Mission Integration at Loyola University Chicago. As the University’s chief mission officer, she works to strengthen the Catholic, Jesuit identity of the institution and the intellectual and spiritual development of its students, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, and affiliated community. Recognized nationally for her expertise in Catholic higher education, she was a member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and University’s Task Force on the Professionalization of the Mission Officer.
Dr. Noonan speaks locally and nationally on topics such as Ignatian spirituality, interfaith education, and vocation. She is author of Full of Grace, a book of spiritual essays and exercises for women. Her writing has also appeared in U.S. Catholic magazine, the Journal of Catholic Higher Education, Diverse Issues in Higher Education and other publications.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion. She earned a Master of Divinity degree at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, and an Ecumenical Doctor of Ministry degree at Catholic Theological Union, with a concentration in spirituality.
