I have served as the Senior Assistant to the President of Seattle University (SU) since 2017, working first with Steve Sundborg, S.J. and now Eduardo Penalver. Prior to that, I began my tenure with SU in 2011 working with Executive Vice President. From 2007 to 2011, I worked at St. Joseph’s, the Jesuit parish of Seattle. Born and raised in Omaha, the eighth of nine kids, I am a 1987 alumna of SU, married to my husband Matt Moran for 34 years (also an SU alum whom I met in a religion class at SU). We have five grown children, the youngest having just graduated from Creighton University (the other four from Gonzaga, Santa Clara, and Notre Dame). While work is very fulfilling, family is everything. I often say that our kids made us look like we knew what we were doing as parents. I enjoy being with my kids, their spouses and my grandson, Teddy. I am very close to my own siblings and take every opportunity I can to see them. I like to travel, knit, and discovering new restaurants.
