I am currently the Reference and Instruction Librarian for Theology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. As of April 2021, I have been with the university just over a year. Previously, I served as the Director for the Library at both Prescott College and Naropa University. I hold an undergraduate degree in philosophy with graduate degrees in Library Science and Indo-Tibetan Buddhism. While raised in a Protestant tradition, I have been a practicing Buddhist for the last 20 years within the Tibetan tradition. My research interests include comparative mysticism, ritual methods and comparative philosophies in Buddhist traditions, and social justice issues pertaining to LGBTQ+ rights and religious institutions/communities.
