Meredith Smith is currently the Assistant Vice President and Director of Residence Life at Fairfield University. She is also a Ph.D. Candidate in Educational Leadership at Fordham University’s Center for Catholic School Leadership and Faith-Based Education. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in History from Wellesley College and a master’s degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland at College Park. Meredith is the co-author of two research articles related to Mentoring and College Student Leadership outcomes, a journal article on Spirituality and Leadership Development, as well as a book chapter “Intersecting Identities and Student Affairs Professionals” in the book Intersectionality and Higher Education: Identity and Inequity on College Campuses. She is passionate about mission work, academic-student life partnerships, and the intersections of spirituality and leadership.
