Chris Dodsworth is Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Spring Hill College. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Dayton and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before completing his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Michigan. His main areas of interest are philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, and metaethics. His research focuses on the relationship of (the Christian) God to morality and how this can assist us in better understanding our relationship to God. Most recently, he is working on understanding the Atonement. Chris is also working on his MTS at Spring Hill. In addition to his scholarly work, he has served on the board of the Neighbor Center, a non-profit devoted to helping those released from prison re-enter society, and he is currently a board member of Mobile’s Christian Jewish dialogue, one of the oldest such dialogues in the country. He is a native speaker of both English and Feline.
