I am a professor in the Department of Classics at the College of the Holy Cross. I received my B.A. from Holy Cross and my Ph.D. in Classical Philology from Harvard University, and I have been teaching at Holy Cross since 2006. Here I have served as chair of the Classics Department and also as a group director in the college’s Montserrat First Year Program. My teaching and scholarship focus on Ancient Greek and especially Latin literature, and on the reception of Classical ideas in the United States.
