Christina Mortellaro is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Saint Peter’s University. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her Ph.D in Health Science Leadership. She has devoted her career toward incorporating her knowledge of the biological and health sciences with the Jesuit values of Saint Peter’s into the growing minds within the classroom. Outside of education, she finds that her passions lie in the realm of health and wellness, as well as volunteering with children with special needs. Yearly, she and her husband dedicate their time to the New Jersey Special Olympics where they help educate individuals and their families on the importance of physical and mental well being.
