Paola Pascual-Ferrá, PhD is an Associate Professor of Communication at Loyola University Maryland, where she has been teaching courses in public communication since 2013. She is a member of the AJCU National Steering Committee for the National Justice Conference, a member of Loyola University Maryland’s Commitment to Justice Committee, and Interfaith Strategic Planning Board, among others. Two of her most memorable experiences while at Loyola include being a faculty leader in the inaugural immersion trip for Project US to Apopka, FL, and co-editing the third edition of Commitment to Justice in Jesuit Higher Education. Paola cares deeply about the Jesuit mission and hopes to continue putting her energy into it. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Princeton University, M.A. in Public Communication from American University and Ph.D. in Communication Studies from University of Miami, Florida. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico.
