Matthew Fee received his B.A. in Communication from La Salle University, and his Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from New York University. With more than twenty years in higher education administration, Dr. Fee has held positions in administration, advising, and program development at New York University, the School of Visual Arts, Ithaca College, and Syracuse University. He has served as a Lecturer and the Director of Le Moyne College’s Integral Honors Program since July 2016. Dr. Fee’s primary areas of research are Irish cinema, Irish studies, and film genres, and he has presented and published on Irish cinema and Irish art, contemporary documentary, horror films, and post-9/11 cinema. He has taught classes on introductory film analysis and advanced fiction film theory, Irish Cinema, and the American Horror Film. As Honors Program Director, he teaches Honors English and Honors Thesis Research, and supervises the seminar Honors Thesis Project.
