Jane holds the role of Chief of Staff to the President and Secretary to the Board at the College of the Holy Cross, a Jesuit, Catholic liberal arts college in Worcester, MA serving about 3000 undergraduate students. In this position, Jane serves as an adviser to the president on policy, procedural, operational business activities and strategic initiatives that span the entire institution and is a member of the President’s Executive Team and Cabinet. She manages institutional projects and initiatives, and works with divisions across campus to address critical issues. She also serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees. Jane has been at Holy Cross since September 2012.
Before coming to Holy Cross, Jane worked in Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s administration: first as Chief of Staff to the Secretary for Energy and Environmental Affairs and then in roles in the Governor’s office and in Economic Development. Before this, she held roles in Governor Patrick’s first campaign, including one as Deputy Transition Director.
Jane has been active in political campaigns at the local level and served in a variety of volunteer community positions, including as an elected Town Meeting representative, in her hometown, and early in her career was a litigation associate at a small law firm in Boston.
Jane lives outside of Boston with her husband. She has three adult children.
Jane is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and received her J.D. from Cornell Law School.
