Teresa Kopriva is respsonsible for facilitating the planning, implementation, and tracking of strategic initiatives at Santa Clara University, and overseeing projects and communications within the Provost’s Office.

Teresa serves as a liaison between the Provost’s Office, academic units, and administrative departments to advance the University’s strategic agenda and priorities, including projects related to STEM, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She regularly consults and collaborates with a broad range of unit and campus leaders on the development, coordination, and communication of strategic initiatives.

Before joining Santa Clara University, Teresa served as Assistant Dean for Administration at The John Marshall Law School. She was primarily responsible for coordinating accreditation, institutional reporting, and special projects and planning, and managing administrative operations of the Offices of the Registrar, Financial Aid, and Faculty Support. Teresa received a B.A. in Anthropology and Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and a J.D. from UIC John Marshall Law School with a focus on alternative dispute resolution.
