Roxana is presently serving as AVP for Strategic Planning and Innovation at Fordham University. She is a member of the Information Technology (IT) Senior Leadership Team, helping to guide the overall direction of the department as it strives to provide holistic services and solutions to the entire university. Her management philosophy hinges on working with smart people who are inspired by Fordham’s mission, and who are motivated to make a difference with their technical or managerial expertise. Believing that staff who are thoughtfully guided, valued and empowered will thrive, and in-turn, build an exciting future for the university.
Roxana has over 30 years of experience and has touched virtually all areas of a typical IT department over this time. She has been with Fordham since 2012 and her current areas of specialization are: strategic planning, project and portfolio management, change management, IT governance, and running tech support centers. Innovation is the cornerstone of each new endeavor, such as department reorganizations that right-size and refocus staff to align with both current and future needs, and it is also an independent activity that has established new programming primarily in the areas of staff development.
Roxana is a proud graduate of the Ignatian Colleagues Program and several other related programs. She graduated cum laude from Hofstra University with a Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems. She is a lifelong learner with a commitment to making a positive impact in higher education, and especially at Fordham.
Prior to joining Fordham, Roxana was Chief Information Officer for Atalian Global Services (formerly Temco Service Industries), a global provider of facilities management services.
