Carol Ann MacGregor currently serves as Vice Provost of Academic Affairs where she oversees Institutional Research, Accreditation, the Student Success Center, the Center for Faculty Innovation, the Women’s Resource Center, and Upward Bound. She also works closely with the Loyola Core and University Honors Programs. She joined the faculty of Loyola University New Orleans in 2012 after receiving her PhD in Sociology from Princeton University. She now holds the rank of Associate Professor. Her research on, Catholic K-12 education, religious non-affiliation and religion and civic engagement has appeared in journals including American Catholic Studies, American Sociological Review, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, and Social Science Research. She teaches courses on research methods, statistics, and education.
