Kendra Reed earned her Ph.D. in management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, M.B.A from DePaul University, and B.S.Ed. from Northwestern University. She joined Loyola New Orleans faculty and the Jesuit journey in 2003. Her research explores organizational factors needed to attract and retain talented high-performing human resources during the current economic situation of uncertainty and instability. She teaches courses in management, including Decision-Making, Human Resources, and Ethics; she serves in many value-adding service roles including Strategic Planning Committees, MBA director, Area Chair, College Rank and Tenure, Academic Integrity, and Faculty Senate/Handbook. Grounded in the seeing God in all things, hope, and excellence, she participated in multiple iterations of the Spiritual Exercises, Ignatian Faculty Fellows Program, enculturation and service trips to Belize, and on-going mission and identity callings.
