Dr. Schoenstedt attended Creighton University as an undergraduate student and received her doctorate from Montana State University in Higher Education Administration. She has been involved in several areas of the sport industry as a coach, athletic director, facility manager, and volunteer for several events and organizations within the sport industry all over the country. She has been a professor in Sport Management for 13 years and came to Xavier University in 2010.
She recently concluded two years as the elected Chair of Faculty Committee and has participated on several Xavier initiatives such as the Next Gen Teacher Scholar Model, Academic Planning, and Academic Program Health initiatives and was recently co-Chair for the successful Provost/Chief Academic Officer search at Xavier.
Dr. Schoenstedt was appointed as the Director of Faculty Programming for Mission & Identity for the 2017-18 academic year and could serve up to 3 years.
