Margaret W. Baker has been dean and professor at the University of San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions since August 2016. Dr. Baker earned a PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Washington. She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America. Dr. Baker’s scholarly focus is on elder abuse and neglect. Dr. Baker is an alumnus of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows program. She is passionate about leadership, organizational effectiveness, organizational climate, and managing change, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion.
