Erik Goldschmidt, Ph.D. is the Director of the Albert S. Foley Community Service Center at Spring Hill College. Erik supervises over 500 students conducting weekly service in the Mobile area which also involves cultivating strategic partnerships with community service providers. He has also consulted for Catholic parishes, schools and dioceses on strategic planning and mission effectiveness. Previous to Spring Hill, he served as the Director of the Church in the 21st Century Center at Boston College. He started his career as a Catholic high school teacher through Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education program. He holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, a Masters of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame, and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from the University of Portland.
