Andrea Niemi is a Southern California native and has worked at LMU in Student Life for the past eighteen years. Over her 21 year career in higher education she has worked directly with leadership development, orientation, student work and volunteer service programs, student organizations, Greek life and student government. She currently provides support and manages all areas housed within Student Leadership & Development and directly advises GSLMU (Graduate Students of Loyola Marymount University. In addition to her role in Student Affairs, Andrea is an instructor for the School of Education teaching various leadership courses focusing on the social change model of leadership development. Andrea has her BA from California State University, Northridge and her Masters of Education from Oregon State University. Andrea’s passion in leadership work is to support students as they discover their gifts and work toward the common good. In her free time, Andrea loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.
