Mr. Rich Rocheleau is the Associate Vice President for Student Life at Loyola Marymount University and has been working at the University since 1990. His first position at LMU was as Assistant Director for Residence Life, but his duties and responsibilities have changed over the last several years. In his current role as Associate Vice President, Rich oversees the departments of Student Housing, Student Leadership and Development, the Center for Service and Action, Campus Recreation and Campus Activities. He is involved with university-wide student retention and engagement initiatives and coordinates technology projects and resources for the Division of Student Affairs. Rich is an instructor in the Higher Education Masters program in the School of Education. Prior to coming to LMU, Rich worked in residence life at the University of California, Davis, and Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He has a Master’s of Arts degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology for the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. He is originally from Wisconsin and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
