Occupational Therapy

Job Purpose:
The University of Scranton Occupational Therapy Department invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position starting in August 2024. Join a dynamic faculty in our accredited 5-year master’s degree program and new OTD degree program.

Essential Duties:
TeachingScholarship ServiceOther responsibilities as outlined in the faculty contract and handbook

Additional Skills Required:
Licensed or eligible to be licensed as an occupational therapist in the Commonwealth of PennsylvaniaStrong commitment to high-quality instruction in a diverse, student-centered environment and the ability to work with students with various learning styles and backgrounds Evidence of scholarly activities and plan to pursue scholarship as required for a tenured faculty member. Commitment to service consistent with the mission of the University of Scranton and the Department of Occupational Therapy.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Earned academic doctorate (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D.) 

Preferred Education:

Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Three years clinical experience in any specialty area

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in OTD programs and Capstones Familiarity with technology Competence in quantitative methods
