The University of Scranton has exciting opportunities to join our team of accomplished, passionate educators and clinicians in the Department of Nursing. This is a 9-month, assistant/associate professor position beginning August 2024. There are opportunities to teach in the undergraduate, graduate, and DNP programs. All positions require scholarship and service. The Department of Nursing prepares nurses who are committed to excellence in practice. The Department’s graduates are recognized for being ready to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, holistic, person-centered car at all levels and across many settings.
The department is looking for candidates with expertise in women’s health.

Additional Skills Required:
Applicants must have recent clinical experience, and a current Pennsylvania nursing license or a current multistate license as part of the Nurse Licensure Compact.Candidates should demonstrate evidence of or potential for excellence in classroom and clinical teaching, engagement in professional service and evidence of the ability to produce scholarly work
Minimum Education Requirements:
– An earned Doctoral Degree in nursing, or current enrollment in a doctoral program in nursing
Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
– The ideal candidate will be able to teach in more than one program
