Health Admin & Human Resources

Job Purpose:
The Health Administration and Human Resources Department at the University of Scranton is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin Fall 2024. The successful candidate will be able to teach introductory through advanced Health Administration and Public Health courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Desired areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, Health Economics and Policy, Medical Ethics, Public Policy, Business Analytics, and Public Health. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified applicants.

Additional Skills Required:
A demonstrated track record of research and scholarship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a successful and high-impact research agenda, a record of significant scholarly achievements, and a commitment to effective teaching. Three to five years of practice experience in a public health or health care setting is preferred. Familiarity with CEPH or CAHME accreditation processes is desirable, as is experience teaching across multiple delivery formats.
