Job Summary:

The Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University invites applications for a full-time, term position at the rank of Lecturer starting in the fall of 2024. Anderson College seeks faculty members who can design, develop, and teach courses for its Master of Science in Information and Cyber Security program.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Design, develop, and teach courses in our information and cyber security program.

 

• Maintain currency in the information and cyber security field through scholarship such as peer-reviewed publications, presenting at conferences, and other scholarly activities.

 

• Actively serve the college and university by participating in various standing committees, task forces, etc., facilitating our operations.

 

• Support student learning by participating in facilitating workshops, student clubs, graduation, and other student-facing activities.

 

• Conduct service to the community, profession, or discipline by participating with industry groups, editorial boards, etc.

 

Our ideal candidate holds a strong teaching record and preferably an industry background in a security related field or a history of working with industry in an academic setting.

 

Education Requirement

 

A doctoral degree or ABD status in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, or a closely aligned field of study is required.

The Anderson College of Business and Computing was founded in 2020 to prepare students for a complex and ever-changing world that is increasingly blending business and technology. The Department of Computer and Cyber Sciences serves traditional and post-tradition undergraduates and graduate students in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information and Cyber

Security, and Software Engineering. The faculty form a community of dedicated teachers, scholars, and practitioners who prepare students for exceptional careers.

Pay Rate:

$58,500 – $68,500/annually commensurate with qualifications.
