Summary:
The Department of Economics and Finance in the Boler College of Business invites
applications for part-time faculty positions for teaching in the areas of economics,
finance, and financial planning for beginning in Fall 2023. Part-time faculty generally
teach 1 to 2 courses per semester.

Finance includes 10 full-time tenure-track faculty. The economics group currently
includes four full-time, tenure-track faculty in addition to several lecturers. The Boler

easy access to a variety of research seminars at nearby institutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
A graduate degree in business (MBA), economics, finance, financial planning/wealth
management, or a closely related field, from an accredited university is preferred. An
undergraduate degree with a nationally recognized certification such as Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP),j or Certified Business
Economist (CBE), as appropriate to teaching responsibilities. A commitment to
outstanding teaching and delivering an excellent student experience is required.
Candidates should possess a strong record of professional service and be willing to
engage in departmental and university service appropriate to their rank.
