Three Visiting Full-Time Faculty Positions in Psychology

 

Description

 

The Department of Psychology at College of the Holy Cross invites applications for three visiting full-time faculty positions (1 clinical, 2 open area) for the 2024-25 academic year to begin in August 2024. The clinical candidate must be able to teach Psychopathology and other intermediate or advanced courses on clinical topics. Specialty area is open for the other positions but the ability to teach at least one of the following courses is preferred: Social Psychology, Psychology of Language, Animal Learning, Judgment and Decision Making, Personality and the Life Story, or Cognition and Memory. Candidates for all three positions may teach Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, or other courses in their specialty area. Visiting full-time faculty teach 3 courses each semester and are eligible for research and professional development support as well as taxable reimbursement of relocation costs up to $3000, according to the College’s published policies. Qualifications

 

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field. Ph.D. preferred by the beginning of the appointment.
