Job Description
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.
The Biomedical Image Analysis Group in the Computer Science Department at Boston College seeks motivated postdoctoral fellows to work on applied research projects in computer vision. The successful applicant will apply cutting edge computer vision and machine learning approaches (e.g., segmentation, LLM) to process and analyze biomedical image data.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new methods for the analysis of biomedical images, with a focus on pathology images and 3D microscopy images
Collaborate with researchers in neuroscience, radiology, and other relevant departments to apply image analysis methods to relevant problems
Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences
Mentor and train junior research staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students
Participate in grant writing and project management activities
This is a full-time, two-year appointment with a competitive salary and benefits package. The start date is flexible and will be determined based on the availability of the successful candidate.

Requirements
Ph.D. in computer science/engineering or a related field
Strong background in deep learning and demonstrated capability to produce workable solutions from theoretical formulations
Substantial publication history in top computer vision/machine learning venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
Good teamwork and communication skills
