Boston College is searching for a recruiter for the Assistant/Associate Director, Companions Program, a newly created intergenerational, lifelong learning program. The Jesuit tradition is at the center of the program and designed to facilitate a cohort of adult learners (Fellows), who are accomplished leaders and professionals, to renew purpose, explore discernment, and deepen spirituality. Fellows will audit courses with undergraduate and graduate students helping to bridge generations while learning together. Fellows have access across the University to create distinctive learning opportunities. There will be a curriculum specific for the Fellows and each Fellow will have their own advisor. The Assistant/Associate Director, Companions Program Recruiter will be responsible for all levels of recruitment of cohort, including and programming around recruitment and onboarding and coordination of marketing and communications. The recruiter will also help create and maintain an alumni council of cohort members.

–       Identify, recruit, interview, and manage the application pool of domestic and international Fellows.

–        Coordinate the logistics for the review of applications, including interviews with colleagues.

–       Compile application dossiers and present to leadership team.

–        Coordinate reports. Create, track, and keep statistics of applicant pool.

–        Support all aspects of the candidate selection, financial aid, and communication / marketing processes. Establish a calendar for selection and onboarding.

–        Liaison for marketing and communication needs of the program.

–        Serve as the primary web content coordinator. Responsible for working with director and maintaining the website.

–        As the initial point of contact with candidates, provide exceptional service, guidance to candidates, and detailed information about the program and University. Create a packet of information for prospective Fellows.

–        Develop programming in order to recruit and yield a cohort of Fellows.

–        Proactively help with onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.

–        Coordinate with Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) for international Fellows.

–        Serve as a visible representative of the office in engaging campus partners.

–        Ensure data is collected for various offices for enrollment and tracking purposes.

–        Co-create and work with alumni council.

–        Partner with colleagues in Center for Centers who support operational efficiency for this program.

–        Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
