The Manager, Financial Applications and Reporting reports to the Associate Controller, Cash Management and Financial Applications and provides technical, accounting, and functional support on all financial applications utilized by the Controller’s Office.  The Manager provides direction on the strategy, design and development of financial reporting utilizing a variety of reporting tools and analyzes business processes to solve problems or improve design through identification of system solutions.  In addition, this position manages the development and testing of all systems/applications that interface to the University’s general ledger and manages the financial system’s monthly and yearly business processes for the Controller’s Office.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $87,050 to $108,800; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Accounting Information systems, required; MBA combined with accounting experience, preferred.
5-7 years of experience in higher education financial administration.
Experience with ERP financial applications and reporting tools; PeopleSoft and Cognos preferred.
Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google software; advanced user of Excel.
