Job Summary:
Regis College is looking for an Affiliate Faculty to teach two courses spring semester (1/16/24 – 5/5/24).

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

This will be a 16-week contract for an instructor in-person classroom teaching opportunity. The successful applicant will teach two upper-level courses of about 10-15 students per course. Sociological Theory; Diversity in U.S. Society. The instructor will have Affiliate Faculty status in Regis College.

Minimum Qualifications:

An advanced degree in a relevant discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Sociology or related discipline.
  • Three years teaching experience, especially sociological theory, diversity-related courses.
  • Teaching in cross-cultural settings a plus.

Work Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 12:30-1:45pm and 2:00pm – 3:15pm.

This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

Pay Rate:
$3,225 per course
