Job Summary:
The Department of Fine and Performing Arts Music Program is seeking a creative and flexible individual with strong teaching and technical skills to teach recording arts courses and to run the sound booth for our Program’s concert calendar. The current program is new (including a recording arts minor) but there is great potential of developing a studio within a growing music program at Regis University. This is why we are seeking a hard-working, pedagogy- and recruitment-focused technician/instructor.

Regis College is a small, teaching focused, liberal arts college housed within Regis University. We are located in North Denver just minutes from downtown. Our undergraduate student population has roughly 1500 students and class sizes range from 15-25 students.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach a wide range of recording arts students. The Music Program at Regis offers three courses in Recording Arts and Live Sound Production for all full time Regis College students, faculty, and staff. Participate in recruitment of recording arts students and run the sound booth for Music Program Concert Series.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completed Master of Music in Sound Engineering or other comparable degree required at time of appointment (or equivalent in recognized performance and teaching experience).

COMPENSATION: $1,000 to $3,500

This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
