Short Program Description:

Fairfield University offers an annual Trustee Orientation Program for new trustees, which provides them with an introduction to their mission stewardship duties.

Program Goals/Intended Outcomes:

1. Give trustees a firm understanding of the duties of mission stewardship.
2. Give a basic understanding of the relationship between the Society of Jesus, the Church, and the University.
3. Articulate a clear understanding of the Jesuit tradition and a contemporary understanding of Jesuit, Catholic mission in light of the Universal Apostolic Preferences and other related documents.
