Sustainability and the Mission

“Sustainability and the Mission” is a new program open to all faculty and staff at Xavier University. It provides participants with a deeper understanding of Xavier’s sustainability initiatives and their connection to its mission and identity as a “Laudato Si’” university.

Each week, participants visit spots on campus that showcase particular sustainability initiatives. In addition to learning more about sustainability and Xavier’s mission, participants have ongoing discussions about various topics and learn what they can do to advance sustainability at Xavier.

At the end of the program, each participant is recognized as a “Province Ignatian Educator of Distinction.”
