Mission and Identity Committee

Short Program Description:

The Trustee Committee for Mission and Identity at Loyola University New Orleans is comprised of a subset of the full Board of Trustees. This group receives a quarterly report from the Vice President of Mission and Identity on current events, as well as the Mission Priority Examen. This committee also prepares for Loyola’s newly formed Full Board Formation Meeting. The committee finalizes pre-reads and discussion questions that will engage the full board in ongoing Jesuit mission formation and education

Program Goals/Intended Outcomes:

1. Support and monitor the integration of Loyola’s Jesuit, Catholic mission into University life.
2. Ensure ongoing mission education for all constituents.
3. Periodically review Loyola’s mission statement to assess current vitality and recommend any revisions.

Key University/Other Partners: The Trustee Mission and Identity Committee is supported by the Vice President of Mission and Identity, in partnership with the Committee's Trustee Chair. Both are currently Jesuits.
