Short Program Description:

The Staff Manresa Program at Regis University is a five-week “learning community” that introduces staff to key mission elements, including the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Ignatian pedagogy, and Regis’ mission statement. The last week provides an optional introduction to Ignatian prayer and spirituality.

Program Goals/Intended Outcomes:

1. Basic understanding of Regis’ mission and heritage.
2. Greater appreciation for one’s own part in Regis’ larger mission.
3. A sense of community and belonging.

Lessons Learned:

While open to all Regis staff, this is a program most often attended by new hires. The Mission Office receives a list of recent hires from HR and extends invitations to them. Mission Office staff have also learned it is very helpful to seek recommendations from supervisors.
