Short Program Description:

The Ignatian Mentoring Program (IMP) for faculty at Xavier University started in 2004 with a grant from the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts. It now continues with support from the Xavier University Jesuit Community.

Program Goals/Intended Outcomes:

Facilitate the incorporation and assimilation of the Ignatian vision into the professional identities of Xavier faculty.

By the end of the year-long program, faculty incorporate a mission-driven teaching component into their courses, and can articulate their scholarship in a manner that is mission-related. The Teaching to the Mission book is a bi-annually printed compendium of all IMP projects.
