Bridges Seminar: Exploring the Intellectual Foundations of Jesuit Mission

Short Program Description:

This semester-long seminar introduces faculty and staff at the University of San Francisco (USF) to core features of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, including the compatibility of faith and reason, the sacramental imagination, catholicity, and human dignity and solidarity. Participants meet monthly over lunch for connection and discussion of readings by Catholic, especially Jesuit, thinkers who have creatively and critically shaped this tradition.
