AJCU Trustee Forum

Jesuit colleges and universities in North America benefit from the contributions of roughly one thousand trustees who guide the schools’ mission and work. The AJCU Trustee Forum provides trustees with the opportunity to ground their service in the heart of the Jesuit mission, connect with counterparts at a wide range of schools, and sharpen skills needed for contemporary board leadership.

Piloted in 2019, the AJCU Trustee Forum is offered to both new and veteran trustees twice per year. (Presidents are also welcome to attend.) Travel expenses and accommodations are the responsibility of the schools / participants. Detailed Forum schedules, pre-readings, and other event details are sent directly to registered participants (please note: we will not be offering sessions via Zoom). This is an in-person event for participants.

2024-2025 AJCU Trustee Forum Dates:

Fall 2024: Friday, October 11 (4:00PM) to Sunday, October 13 (12:00PM) at Loyola University Chicago’s Water Tower Campus. Open to all trustees; optional for presidents.

 

Spring 2025: Friday, April 4 (4:00PM) to Sunday, April 6 (12:00PM) at Loyola University Chicago’s Water Tower Campus. Open to all trustees; optional for presidents (Registration Link TBD)

In Trust Magazine

In Trust is a new, free digital publication focused specifically on the interests and development of AJCU trustees. Issued biannually, In Trust addresses key issues of mission governance and pressing higher education topics affecting Jesuit colleges and universities. Within its pages, trustees, presidents, and other leaders across the AJCU network provide up-to-the moment insights for our entire community.
