The National Seminar on Jesuit Higher Education welcomes Dr. Nancy Dallavalle as the new executive editor of the publication, Conversations on Jesuit Higher Education. Dr. Dallavalle serves as director of the Center for Catholic Studies at Fairfield University, where she is also an associate professor of religious studies.

Dr. Dallavalle said, “I am happy to serve as the new executive editor for Conversations on Jesuit Higher Education. Rooted in the work and outreach of the National Seminar on Jesuit Higher Education, the print and online contents of Conversations are a rich resource for campus discussions about mission. Given the current pace of change in higher education, and the great need for a grounded, person-centered vision for this work, Conversations will continue to enliven and support that mission across the AJCU network.”

Supporting Dr. Dallavalle in her work is Ron Bernas of the University of Detroit Mercy, who will continue to serve as editor of Conversations.

We wish to thank Dr. Jim McCartin of Fordham University, who preceded Dr. Dallavalle, for his leadership of Conversations. Under his tenure, Conversations launched several new podcasts, a webinar series, and a new website. Learn more at conversationsmagazine.org.
