The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) works with a number of national coalitions to build support for and access to Federal student aid. Here are several organizations with which AJCU is actively engaged:

Student Aid Alliance

The Student Aid Alliance is a coalition of over 60 higher education associations and groups that lobby for and decide the higher education budget priorities for each year, in addition to lobbying on Federal student aid. Students can contact members of Congress and lobby for funding for student aid through the Alliance’s website: studentaidalliance.org.

Committee for Education Funding (CEF)

The Committee for Education Funding is a non-profit, non-partisan education coalition comprised of over 100 national education associations. CEF is the definitive coalition that lobbies exclusively on the budget and appropriations for all of education. More information can be found on the CEF website: cef.org.

#DoublePell

AJCU is proud to be a member of the national #DoublePell campaign to raise awareness of Pell grants. Through collective advocacy in partnership with other higher education associations, AJCU is committed to working with our partners to see the Pell Grant maximum award doubled.

Remember the Dreamers

AJCU has partnered with several other higher education associations on Remember the Dreamers: a national initiative to raise awareness of DACA students and Dreamers on college campuses.
