The Holy Father’s recent visit to the United States was a momentous occasion for Catholics across the country. All 28 Jesuit colleges and universities celebrated his visit, which included an unscheduled stop at Saint Joseph’s University on Sunday, September 27th. More information on his visit can be found here.
The presidents of College of the Holy Cross, Fairfield University, Loyola Marymount University, Spring Hill College; the chancellor of the University of San Francisco; and a trustee at Gonzaga University were all invited by their local Members of Congress to hear Pope Francis’ historic address to a joint session of Congress in the House Chamber on Thursday, September 24th. The presidents of AJCU, Fordham University, Georgetown University, John Carroll University and Marquette University also attended events related to the Pope’s visit to Washington, D.C. last week.
